We strongly believe in giving back, in supporting people, in helping those in needs. In the past we supported organisations as the "Soul Surf Project" and the "R.O.L.E. Foundation". We continue to help wherever possible.
NEUROFIBROMATOSE TYPE 1
In 2003 Claas Röhl visited Kima Surf in Bali for the first time. He enjoyed many more perfect surf trips with us, but in 2009 his life took an unexpected turn. His then newly born daughter was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1. Neurofibromatosis Type 1 is an incurable and unpredictable genetic disease.
She inspired Claas to found the NPO “NF Kinder”. This patient organization is financed by donations and fights for families with NF who are often in a very bad situation. Every donation helps Claas to establish proper health care for patients with Neurofibromatosis, to enable sustainable research activities and after-care programs. Please help Claas and his organization NF Kinder and donate, so that families with NF can have a better future – thank you very much.
BEACH CLEAN-UPS
Beach clean-ups enjoy increasing popularity even beyond Kima Surf. People and businesses in Bali are becoming more and more environmentally conscious. There have even been days were nearly 40 tons of rubbish were cleared from the beaches.
