How to get to Canggu, Seminyak & Uluwatu

It is important that your trip begins stress free, and Kima Surf Bali has this covered. We offer free airport transfer from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to your surf camp for stays of five nights or longer. So instead of worrying about taxis or directions after a long flight, you can sit back, enjoy the ride and start getting into holiday mode.

Before you know it you will be dropping your bags, meeting your surf crew and heading straight to the beach. Here is everything you need to know about getting from the airport to Canggu, Seminyak and Uluwatu so you can get here and get in the water as quickly as possible.

Getting to Kima Surf Camps

In Bali Kima Surf Camps currently has two surf camps, one in Canggu and one in Seminyak, and a third exciting location will shortly open in Uluwatu. Our Uluwatu Camp opens in the third week of May 2026, stay tuned!

Each camp is situated in the heart of these trendy zones, near the island’s best surf spots, lovely beaches, and fantastic cafes along Bali’s well-known southwest coastline. Traveling from the airport to the trendy beach scene of Seminyak, the stunning limestone cliffs of Uluwatu, or the bustling surf town of Canggu is easy.

Airport transfer with Kima Surf

Airport transfers (airport pick-up and drop-off) are included for a minimum 5-night stay. A small fee is charged for pick-up if you stay less than five nights. To make sure everything goes smoothly, let us know your exact flight details by email (date and time of arrival, airline and flight number) and your WhatsApp number at least 48 hours before you set off. Once you arrive at the airport in Bali, please login to the airport’s free WiFi and you will receive a text from our driver with his name, photo and information about the meeting point at the airport.

Getting around Bali

Once you arrive at our surf camps in Seminyak, Canggu and Uluwatu exploring the area is easy, our surf camps are conveniently located in the heart of these trendy surf towns. A lot of attractions are within walking distance, however the ones further out can be easily reached using the following local transport options.

  1. Gojek and Grab: These are Uber-like ride-hailing apps where you can get a car, a scooter, or even groceries delivered. Ideal for short outings to stores, cafes, or beaches.
  2. Blue Bird Taxi: This is the most reputable taxi service in Bali. It is great for longer journeys or airport runs thanks to metered rides.
  3.  Renting a scooter is an affordable and adaptable way to discover secret beaches, neighborhood markets, and picturesque locations. Drive cautiously and use a helmet at all times. Enquire at our front office for scooter rental services, Kima has you covered!
